How Bad is Your Favourite Sleeping Position?

The way you lie in bed has some positive and negative effects.

We’re more than a little curious about all things sleep (after all, we spend up to a third our life doing it!). So we were definitely intrigued by a new infographic that The Huffington Post just published that highlights some of the pros and cons of how you lie in bed at night. Yes, your snoozing position has an effect on your body, inside and out.

According to a 2012 survey conducted by Anna’s Linens, 74% of Americans sleep on their sides, which can lessen snoring but also contribute to back, hip and shoulder pain. That said, back and stomach sleeping also have their benefits – and disadvantages. See below, and then tell us what you think.

 So, what do you think? Would you switch up your usual position to avoid things like wrinkles?
